We are committed to handling your personal data responsibly, in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) of India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, store, and protect your information when you use our ScreenDetox mobile application (“App”).

We do not collect personal content such as SMS, call logs, photos, contacts, or browsing history unless explicitly required for core functionality and clearly disclosed.

- To provide core app functionality (screen time tracking, parental controls, usage insights).
- To personalize recommendations for healthier screen habits.
- To improve App performance, troubleshoot issues, and enhance features.
- To send notifications, alerts, and updates related to App usage and wellbeing.
- For research and analytics, only in anonymized or aggregated form.
3. Lawful Basis and Consent
By using the ScreenDetox app, you provide consent for the collection and processing of your personal data as outlined in this policy.
You may withdraw consent at any time by disabling permissions or deleting your account. (Note: withdrawal may affect App functionality.)
For child users, verifiable parental consent is required, in line with the DPDP Act provisions on processing children’s data.

At present, ScreenDetox servers are located in India. If data is transferred outside India, it will be done in accordance with applicable government rules under the DPDP Act.

ScreenDetox is designed for parents and children under parental supervision.
